I have 13+ years of experience working for global luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands. After starting my career in my home town of London, the bohemian Pacific Northwest was calling, so I made the jump in 2014 working firstly in Los Angeles at a tech startup before settling (for now) in Vancouver, in beautiful British Columbia. My most recent position was Art Director at luxury athletic and lifestyle brand lululemon, where I got to create the work I'm most proud of, leading a ‘friends for life’ team while producing a series of successful global campaigns.
I am currently available for freelance and international collaborations.
Five things about Katie that you might want to know…
I’m happiest when on set surrounded by the camaraderie of the crew
I’ve got my WSET level 2. Lets talk wine!
I love a pub (and miss them, living in Canada)
I am fascinated by Auyveda. Anyone else? I went here in Kerala in 2019, and it's the form of wellbeing that speaks to me most
I’m obsessed with the art of the hand-made.
Whether ceramics, textiles, wood work, painting, cooking;—I love making with my hands. I believe it has benefits to both our personal wellbeing and the planet’s. Sitting down, slowing down and concentrating on one task can be seen as a form of meditation; lowering stress levels and improving moods and focus. I started Krafted in 2014 to establish a place where we can all take time out of our day and find joy in the ‘back to basics’ simplicity of hand-making, and creating things that make us smile. Appreciating the art of the hand-made empowers a more sustainable life which, in turn, is kinder to our planet.
