Hello, I’m Katie, an Art Director specializing in creative direction and brand building for luxury, fashion, and lifestyle brands. My clients include Lululemon, Mulberry and Lancôme.

I am passionate about creating a deeper connection between people and planet.

As a senior creative, I have over 15 years of experience helping brands create successful 360 marketing campaigns, brand moments, and product stories. My style is highly conceptual and holistic when approaching a brief. Combined with my detail-orientated nature and strategic thinking, the outcome is beautifully crafted, emotion-driven work that drives business growth. My approachable leadership style fosters strong creative teams and enables effective collaboration with cross-functional partners and senior leaders.

My true motivation lies in building brand love and crafting narratives. The industry is at a pivotal time where we have to create epic change to protect our planet; from the operational roots of a business through to how we market. As a creative professional who ultimately 'sells products', I have to participate in this change. You can find more information here.

After living and working in the UK and North America, I have recently returned to the UK with my family and am eager to explore new freelance opportunities.

Nice to knows…

  1. I’m happiest when on set surrounded by the camaraderie of the crew,

  2. I’ve got my WSET level 2 in wine and spirits,

  3. I just spent 11 years in Canada, where I met my husband and our first daughter Billie was born.

  4. I am fascinated by Auyveda. Anyone else? I went here in Kerala in 2019, and it's the form of wellbeing that speaks to me most,

  5. I’m obsessed with the art of the hand-made and have made a series of heirlooms you can shop

Whether ceramics, textiles, wood work, painting, cooking;—I love making with my hands. I believe it has benefits to both our personal wellbeing and the planet’s. Sitting down, slowing down and concentrating on one task can be seen as a form of meditation; lowering stress levels and improving moods and focus. I started Krafted in 2014 to establish a place where we can all take time out of our day and find joy in the ‘back to basics’ simplicity of hand-making, and creating things that make us smile. Appreciating the art of the hand-made empowers a more sustainable life which, in turn, is kinder to our planet.
